Video: Radio Station Drops Porsche Boxster from Crane

A Finnish radio station that goes by the name “NRJ” held a contest called “Cash or Crash” where listeners could vote to either win or destroy an all-new Porsche Boxster roadster. According to our reader Toni N. who sent us this tip, 56% of the people who took part in the vote apparently didn’t believe in luck so they chose to crash the German sportscar.

NRJ did what it promised by tying up the Boxster on a crane and dropping it from a height of 30 meters or about 100 feet. The unfortunate incident –for car lovers like ourselves that is- took place in a parking lot in Finland on Wednesday, June 18, 2008. -Video after the jump

Thanks for the tip Toni N.!

Video: Porsche 928 GTS 6-Wheeler Pick-Up Truck

Wondering why someone would go into all that trouble to create a three-axle, 6-wheeler, pick-up truck version of a Porsche 928 GTS? We can’t think of an answer and even if we did, we’re sure we wouldn’t convince anyone. Nevertheless, for his own personal reasons, Harry Thoma decided to stretch a 928 GTS, add a third axle and a pick-up bed. While he was at it, Thoma also increased the displacement of the original 928’s 5.4-liter V8 engine to 6.1-liters, raising output from 350 to 390 HP. -Video after the jump

Video: Dutch Police vs Porsche 911 GT3

Crazy video taken from a Dutch police vehicle while the officer was involved in a high speed pursuing of a Porsche 911 GT3. At some point the driver of the 911 GT3 lost control and crashed into a road barrier, however, despite the sever damages that his car suffered, he continued driving on with all kind of parts flying away from the GT3!
